Terms and Conditions – Spa Hotel Taupo
1. Credit card details must be supplied for all accommodation bookings, any damage to rooms or extra cleaning required will be charged to the card. In the event where credit card details aren’t supplied, an invoice will be issued for the full amount required.
2. Spa Hotel is a Non Smoking complex. There is a $100 flat fee for anyone caught or believed to be smoking inside any unit. This includes cigarettes, illicit drugs and anything else that Hotel management deems unacceptable.
3. Check in time is 2pm on the day of arrival. Check out time is 10am sharp on the day of departure. If you have not checked out by 10am you will be asked to leave immediately. Any late checkout may incur extra charges – these will be advised to you on departure or whenever practicable.
4. Cancellation policy – if you cancel your booking within 48 hours of your agreed arrival time, a $50 cancellation fee is payable. If credit card details are supplied, it will be charged to this card. If a cheque/bank/cash deposit was paid, the $50 will be deducted from this. The $50 is per room, per night of the booking. If no credit card details are given and no deposit taken, we reserve the right to issue an invoice for the amount.
5. Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on arrival unless arrangement has been made with management.
6. No visitors allowed in rooms past 11pm.
7. The registered guest is responsible for all guests and visitors in the room booked under their name. Any damage, loss and costs associated with inappropriate behavior will be payable by the registered guest.
8. Spa Hotel will not be liable for any loss of any kind whatsoever.
9. Cancellations after check in will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee, however if after arrival clients are dissatisfied with any aspect of their accommodation & decide to terminate their stay, the amount to be refunded, if any, is at the discretion of the hotel management
10. Guests must obey any direction given to them by Hotel staff
11. Whilst care is taken to ensure that the description of facilities and services of the Spa Hotel is accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded, and on occasion taken out of service. If any feature/facility is essential for the guest in choosing a particular property, it is advisable that the guest checks this at the time of booking. Spa Hotel cannot be held liable for omissions or errors, whether temporary or permanent of its facilities and services.
12. Spa Hotel will not be liable for any accident, injury, delay, property damage or personal loss to you or those staying with you resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, act of God, defects in vehicles, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, Government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule.
